The Algerian Fairs and Exportation Company (SAFEX) is a public company resulting from the transformation of the corporate purpose and the name of the National Office of Fairs and Exports, created in 1971. The head office of SAFEX is located in the grounds of the Palais des Expositions (property of SAFEX), located 3km from the airport and 10 km from the city center.

SAFEX is delegated by ministry of trade to organize fairs abroad.
